AGM Note to Members

Dear Members,

You have been advised previously that the Annual General Meeting for Bunbury Tennis Club is to be held at the clubhouse on Sat May 25th 2019 at 4-00pm. An important part of this process is to nominate the new Committee or Board and address any specific items to be raised for business.

A copy of the old constitution and the new constitution have been placed on both the club notice board and available on the club website or available from the secretary at btcsecretary@outlook.com if you would like a copy to be sent to you.

All clubs in WA, must abide by the new constitution. We have used the template from Tennis West with some minor changes from their template. A quorum of 15 members must be present with a voting majority of 75 % to enable the passing of the new constitution. If this condition is not met we must then call for another AGM to pass the motion.

The AGM will not be to decide what is in the constitution but to vote on the document as it is and any queries in regards to points of the constitution must be made within the 7 days prior to the meeting to the secretary.

The constitution must contain certain points and I have attached a copy of these as a guide. Our existing constitution was very well put together, so you will not see many variations from the existing constitution.

Drinks will be provided after the meeting.
